Nobody prepares you for this journey.

Not the months of trying. Not the diagnosis that changes everything. Not the cost you weren't warned about. Not the grief you carry in silence. And definitely not the system that profits from your confusion.

The reality

In India, when you start struggling to conceive, you Google. Google gives you five different answers. You see a doctor. The doctor runs tests and hands you numbers without explaining what any of them mean. AMH 1.2. FSH 9.3. You leave more confused than when you walked in.

If you get a diagnosis — PCOS, low ovarian reserve, male factor, “unexplained” — nobody sits you down and explains what it actually means for YOUR situation. They say “try IUI” or “you'll need IVF” and assume you know what that involves.

If you start treatment, the clinic quotes ₹90,000. The actual bill is ₹3–4.5 lakh. The success rate on their wall says 65%. The real number — live births, not just positive tests — is 25–35%. Nobody explains the difference.

And through all of this — the injections, the monitoring visits, the two-week waits, the results — you carry the emotional weight alone. Because your family doesn't understand. Your friends don't know what to say. And your clinic gives you a treatment plan, not a hand to hold.

Why GarbhSaathi exists.

Every fertility resource in India has a conflict of interest. Clinic websites exist to get you to book. Hospital content is marketing. Pharma guides promote their drugs. Even general health media runs on clinic advertising.

An independent voice — one that has no financial reason to mislead you — simply did not exist.

GarbhSaathi is that voice. We don't take clinic money. We don't earn referral fees. We don't accept pharma sponsorship. The only people we answer to are the couples reading this.

What we do today.

We publish honest fertility guides. 49+ articles covering everything from “when should I see a specialist?” to IVF cost breakdowns by city to the emotional side nobody warns you about. Sourced from ICMR and PubMed. No sponsorships. No affiliate links.

We run a WhatsApp community. A private group for couples at every stage — from first questions to active treatment to life after a failed cycle. No clinic promotions. No toxic positivity. Just real people who understand.

We don't have everything built yet. But we're learning from real people every day, and everything we do is shaped by what they tell us matters most.

What we're building next.

A companion app that replaces the paper notes, phone alarms, and scattered WhatsApp screenshots. Cycle tracking for IVF, ICSI, IUI, and FET. Medication reminders that don't fail. Cost tracking that shows you where every rupee goes — before the bill arrives.

Clinic transparency based on what patients actually experienced — real costs, real outcomes, not a brochure.

None of this exists yet. But the guides and community are real, and every feature is being shaped by the people who need it most.

What we will never do.

  • Accept money from clinics or pharma companies
  • Earn referral fees from clinic introductions
  • Let anyone influence what we publish
  • Sell your data or share it with providers
  • Tell you to ‘stay positive’ when you’re hurting

This is funded by readers and built by people who believe the fertility system in India can be better than this. If we ever break that promise, hold us to it.

Sanket Babar
Founder

I built this because Indian couples navigating fertility have almost no honest information to rely on. Every source has a financial reason to mislead. An independent voice simply did not exist.

We're a small team. We don't have everything figured out. But we're learning from real people every day, and we're committed to getting the honesty and the accuracy right — even when it's uncomfortable.

If you find something wrong on this site, I want to hear about it.
